eGeneration Ltd., one of the leading IT companies in Bangladesh and Microsoft jointly organized a roundtable titled “Creating Bangladeshi Multinational Companies by building Modern Workplace” on Monday evening at The Westin Dhaka. The roundtable lead the discussion to embrace strategies that create global companies by generating workplace insights using data, powerful metrics and analytical tools, driving productivity, increasing employee engagement and streamlining processes. Bangladeshi companies discussed their current strategy to leapfrog into global markets to realize the national vision of becoming a Developed Country by 2041. They shared their optimism and growth mindset to work in a developed Bangladeshi economy that will be more than 2.6 trillion dollars in size with huge exports in region of 700 billion dollars in 2041. Managing Directors, Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and Head of ITs from various sectors attended the program.

To build these MNCs, technology collaboration is critical to grow the business and sustain the growth through collaboration tool, advanced business processes, business intelligence systems, data analytics, and IoT solutions. It is high time that Bangladeshi organizations embrace a digital-first strategy and build capabilities to have accelerated growth, which will help us realize the dream of Bangladesh becoming a developed country.”

According to latest figures released by Microsoft and IDC Asia/Pacific, businesses expect to add 70% more in customer acquisition rate by 2020, underscoring the beneficial outcomes that embracing digital transformation brings to the table. International studies show close to 50% of Global companies has started heavily increasing investments on their IT infrastructure with digital transformation at the heart of their corporate strategy with the aim of spurring more growth. The global CxOs are cultivating a vision of a digital modern workplace that will bring much needed push for growth and sustained economy worldwide.
